Snoogle Anyone?

I finally had a good nights sleep with no backache at all thanks to this…..

A Snoogle, otherwise known as a pregnancy pillow.  I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night with a bad back because I needed more support. This pillow takes a bit of getting used to because it’s quite large and Rob was a bit perturbed to be sharing his bed with “an enormous worm”, but it is a life saver… or back saver!

There are many ways you can sleep with it and initially I chose to sleep with it against my back with the bottom curved bit through my legs…  looking a little something like this:

Sorry no actual photos! I’m bad enough taking them in the middle of the day let alone middle of the night and do you really want to see me in the middle of the night!

During the night after going to the restroom I came back and changed positions to this:

Which was actually really comfy! It was hard to manoeuvre the pillow under the duvet but it was great once you got into position! I would definitely recommend it to all pregnant women out there! I had no back ache last night for the first time in a while!

This morning I was brought breakfast in bed by my wonderful husband.. it was the biggest bowl of cereal I have ever seen! He’s taken the term ‘eating for two’ literal! Regardless of the size I still managed to get through most of it.. YUM!

  • 1/2 cup shredded wheat – probably more like 3/4!
  • 1/2 cup of granola
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1/2 banana
  • skim milk

I’m still waiting to feel the baby move but I will keep you all posted!

Can you remember the first time you felt your baby move?
